'TEXTUAL CHEMISTRY' - FINISHED OPENING SCENE

Here is the completed opening sequence for my romantic comedy 'Textual Chemistry', which I have uploaded to Google Drive. 

I have included the conventions I found when analysing opening sequences at the start of my Blog, incorporating production company idents, title cards and introducing the two main protagonists including their contrasting personalities.

My title cards include the names of the production companies but also the names of the film's stars, the key crew members and the title of the film.

I have also incorporated many of the key conventions of genre that I researched when looking at romantic comedy opening sequences. These include a getting ready montage and genre-appropriate music, ‘Are you gonna be my girl’ by Jet. 

The font I have used in my titles is also reflective of genre.
