ANALYSING OPENING SEQUENCES - INTRODUCTION

I am going to look at five opening sequences from films from different genres to establish the conventions of opening sequences regardless of what genres they belong to.

I am going to look at the opening sequences from the following films:

1. '10 Things I Hate About You' (Romance)

2. 'Maze Runner' (Dystopian)

3. 'White Chicks' (Comedy)

4. 'Star Wars - The Force Awakens' (Sci-fi)

5. 'Happy Death Day' (Horror)
